1. What are Shortcuts?

Shortcuts are a key feature that makes Trace truly special. You can create events instantly from what's on your screen with just a double-tap on the back of your iPhone or a single press of the Action button (iPhone 15 Pro and up). Check out how fast and convenient it is in this video!

2. Adding Shortcuts

  1. Go to the "More" menu and select "Shortcuts Guide”

  2. Choose and add your preferred shortcuts from the "Shortcuts Quick Access" section

3-1. Assigning Shortcuts

Option A: Back Tap

Assign your shortcuts to double or triple back taps:

  1. A double tap on the back of your iPhone will launch "Create Event with Text in Trace"
  2. A triple tap on the back will launch "Create Event with Image in Trace"
